Technical Department

The Dairygold Food Ingredients Technical Department is split in to two sections, Quality Assurance and Technical Services. The Technical Department is responsible for ensuring the Safety and Legality of the products produced and marketed by Dairygold Food Ingredients UK Ltd.

The Quality Assurance side is involved with ensuring that we are making product to the correct specification, ensures any special customer requirements are implemented (e.g. M and S requirements for shelf life, type of packaging etc) and also looks after any customer complaints . Complaints are trend analysed to ensure that we address any recurring issues as quickly as possible . The Technical Service side looks after all information and documentation going out to customers, such as specifications, supplier questionnaires and all customer enquiries relating to cheese and its constituents

Certification

Dairygold Food Ingredients holds an A grade certification for the BRC standard audited by SAI Global (EFSIS). We have held an A grade since the launch of the grading system in 2005 (Our first audit against this standard was in 2006). The BRC standard has recently been reissued (Issue 5) , and we are now working hard to ensure that any new clauses are addressed to ensure that we maintain this grade in the future .

We are also certified by the Organic Food Federation to produce Organic cheese products under the UK certification UK4 mark.
