UK Sites

DFI Crewe
The site at Crewe was established in 1979, the company was formerly known as Haslington Cheese, prior to being acquired by Dairygold in 2000. After a significant investment of over £2 million in September 2009 Dairygold Food Ingredient’s now produces a variety of convenient formats, servicing food manufacturers, caterers and foodservice operators. Supplying formatted cheeses in all different shapes and sizes.

DFI Leeds
In 2006 Dairygold Food Ingredients Ltd acquired Dan Dairies (UK) Ltd based in Leeds.

Dan Dairies has successfully operated in the UK since 1992 producing high quality soft cheese, as an ingredient servicing UK Food Manufacturing and Foodservice sectors.

A name change took place on 1st October 2010 when Dan Dairies officially became Dairygold Food Ingredients, Leeds. DFI Leeds core business compliments Dairygold Food Ingredients existing product range and market position as the leading UK cheese ingredient supplier.

Both UK sites hold A grade certification for the BRC standard audited by SAI Global (EFSIS).

We are also certified by the Organic Food Federation to produce Organic cheese products under the UK certification UK4 mark.
