A spray dried powder manufactured specifically for the Infant Formula industry. Our unique process comprises ion exchange and electrodialysis technology to ensure at least 90% of the mineral content is removed and that specific target levels for minerals, including calcium, phosphorous and magnesium, are reached. Our processes also ensure that microbiological and NPN levels in the final product are minimised.

Quality is critical to our Infant Formula clients and to mothers who trust our products to provide safe and nutritious formula for their infants. Dairygold Food Ingredient’s dedication to quality starts on the farm, where milk from our shareholders’ herds, grazing on natural pastures, is produced to the highest hygiene standards. This milk alone is used to produce Dairygold cheese and casein and the fresh liquid whey generated is rapidly processed in our state of the art demineralised whey production facility. Traceability and control over the raw material is therefore guaranteed.

Our production facilities are dedicated to meeting the particular requirements of the infant formula sector. This includes an extensive environmental monitoring and control programme focussed specifically on Cronobacter, formerly known as E sakasakii, a key concern for the industry.
